This site is dedicated to matchcovers, a specific ephemera collectable, that were made with beautiful advertising artwork and designed to cover both front and back of the cover, either vertically or horizontally.  Many manufacturers designed and sold these designs, while most all were custom for the establishment, such as a restaurant.  Very few have survived today since by nature of the definition of ‘ephemera’, they were intended to be discarded after use.  

This site is also the main library for the Full-Length Matchcover Club.  This site will be expanding since its debut in Dec. 2018 as many matchcovers need to be uploaded. So, please revisit often. The main focus for now is uploading front strike multi-color covers only (an exception is the Navy ships). Later on the two color and newer covers will get included.

As a member, should you decide to join, you will have full access to the library and club roster.  The cost is $10/year, plus a $15 initiation.  (this covers the cost & administraton of this site).
